Florida law for minors
Florida law requires that any client under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete a written, notarized consent form before any piercing service. Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the time of the appointment. Clients ages 16–17 may come without a parent, but must bring the notarized consent form, their own valid photo ID, and a copy of the parent or guardian’s valid photo ID.
